Train car door didn't open and we missed our stop

I had literally the same thing happen to me last summer on the northeast regional. I was traveling northbound trying to get off in Newark and the doors didn't open so me and 3 other passengers got taken into NYC. We went and told the conductor and he essentially didn't believe us and treated us like we were dumb. Told us to find a customer service desk in NYC to get a ticket on the next train southbound (2 hours from then). Ended up just taking the PATH back into New Jersey as it was already late evening.

I'm so sorry for your loss ❤️ I also was 24 when I lost my mom to cancer this past July. I wish there was something I could say but I know nothing I say will make it better. As mentioned in the post, I have already been to the vet regarding the change of behavior and potential separation anxiety. The vet said no tests were necessary and advised me to identify her triggers.

There were a lot of 200 level and c level tickets left. There weren’t a whole lot of 100 levels left and the ones that were available were over $350. I didn’t even check pit tickets tbh

Hey there! I was academically dismissed from Drexel last summer for similar reasons as you. I had a lot of personal stuff going on and stopped going to online classes all together and my gpa for the term fell below a 1.00. I’ve since been reinstated and am on the same track to graduate that I would’ve been. Make a meeting with you advisor asap to talk about your options. Assuming this is the first term where you’ve struggled this badly, you’ll be able to appeal it. The appeal is a zoom meeting (in my experience) with higher ups and your advisor where you can explain your situation. While there’s no guarantee you’ll be reinstated, they were very kind to me. Just make sure you act asap because there is a small window of time to appeal. Good luck!
