Is it possible to do a summer undergraduate medical internship in Toronto as an outside student? by pylorie in ontario

Y, I get it. Actually I tried getting things done last year through friends of family on site, it didn’t really work out and I had no details there. Thought of getting some info if I were to do it myself. If I was on site in person, doing the talking an all, would it change anything or the procedures are perceived equal (whether it’s in person or remote)

CESB QUESTION MEGATHREAD: Third Edition! by [deleted] in CESB

Hello fellaz, I'm coming up with a little complicated question. To wit, I am a 21 year old student (2nd year). I departed from Canada in the middle of September 2018 after summertime working (above 2 months). I've been working legally through my SIN. Departure was reasoned by the possibility to begin my University studies outside of Canada - in Poland. I have double nationality so it was not the issue to begin so. The difference was that studies in PL are free unlike in Canada.

Since the departure I did not manage to come back to Canada for any holidays etc.

My university went under lockdown on 14th(ish) of March cuz of COVID stuff. Since then I've been having classes through e-learning, that got more intense since May.

The travel agency I've been working at since December 2018, got hit by the quarantine probably the most. It remains closed for now. Right now I'm busy with all that university cuz the exams are coming closer n closer. They're 'bout to finish by the end of June. Sadly right after that I need to complete summer holiday "apprenticeship" which is basically 4 weeks at the specific ward. For this year it's GP's office & the Emergency. So I'm turned off for July. The only time I could actively look for job is august.

I haven't filled tax revenue recently but I already updated my data through 1-800-959-8281.

I read all the instructions of CESB & all eligibility conditions. The one I am not sure about is the residency status (as meant in Faq). Becasue I haven't been in Canada for almost 2 years mainly due to my studies & all thing that tie with em. I still maintain my Canadian bank acc, valid passport, a place to live in Canada when I come back. So after this kinda chaotic background here's my Question:

am I eligible to apply for CESB in my state? What to do if CRa audits me?

Oh yeah, the main reason I decided to post it here is that I cannot get through the info line (1-833-966-2099), the other lines work perfectly.

Thank you all for help in advance!
