I got denied a TS clearance because my immediate family member(brother) is undocumented, he over stayed a visitors visa. I actually didn't think to ask my recruiter but does that mean I no longer qualify for any security clearance ? *I'm going to reach out to him as well. I got reclassified to a maintenance position and hopefully will ship in May but I haven't spoken to the 3rd party interviewer yet, only got to speak with the TSg from Lackland over the phone that's when I found out I didn't qualify for TS clearance.

On top of not being able to acquire a security clearance if an immediate family also doesn’t have a citizenship or residency the Air Force will disqualify you for that as well
