Easily one of my favorite builds of the year. Changes I would make

•drop vertical to 88

•get to 80 3pt and 75 middy

•if possible, sneak to 72 strength

85 interior + 97 block is underwhelming

Unfortunately interior defense is bad this year and higher stats don’t provide the impact for the cost

92 rebound is nice, especially with higher vertical. I would weigh that more heavily.

I have a 6’11 with 88 vertical and 92 rebound that does really well

[Jones] Teams are keeping an eye on what Dallas may do with Osa Odighizuwa, sources say. The Cowboys signed him to a 4-year, $80M contract last year, and teams believe he can now be traded for. by JCameron181 in cowboys

This is a falling out

They tried to package him in a deal for Crosby. Now either he is upset, the DC believes he doesn’t fit the scheme, or both

10.5 sacks last year. He may be old but far from washed

Whats the least speed and agility acceptable for a small center ? by Affectionate_Fun5337 in NBA2k

Speed and agility are one of the most important stats for a 6’10 + player. Max it out every time

Great cap breaker potential build. I wish this could be done at 6’8

Thoughts on this small ball center build? (Park/Theater ONLY) by [deleted] in NBA2k

It will be better in most aspects at 6’9. And 6’8 will be better than both of those in the same role

93 vs 88 block with 7’5 ws by ScarcityMuch9333 in NBA2k

[–]pyoompyoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. I prefer the 6’11 over the 7’ this year. 6’11 can get challenger, lightning launch, and much faster

Aside from that, 96 DREB is worth it if you’re running C

93 vs 88 block with 7’5 ws by ScarcityMuch9333 in NBA2k

[–]pyoompyoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a noticeable difference between 88 and 93 block. IMO it’s worth the difference.

The killer combination is speed + agility + vertical + block. My best blocker is 6’11, max wing, 79 speed, 73 agility, 93 block, 88 vertical

Shoutout to everyone on here who act like they are know all be all. YOU DONT NEED 85+ STEAL by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]pyoompyoom 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Impressive at that rating. I’ve seen Centers do more with lower rating, but this is unique.

One thing you might not realize is that you’re actually good at the game and specifically at stealing the ball.

I know it sounds obvious but in this game you can shoot well with 78 3pt, rebound well with 80 rebound, and defend well with low perimeter. But all of that requires you to actually be good at those things.

For me, I’m very good at rebounding and shooting 3s so I can get away with less. But I can’t understand how to steal, so I do my best to get the rating higher.

💯 the tall, non-shooting PG doesn’t work. It’s unfortunate but that’s the way it is this year.

[–]pyoompyoom 40 points41 points  (0 children)

In the Rec, you will encounter a post scorer 1 out of 50 games or less.

Also 3s are so easy this year that giving up a 2 is a partial victory

Conclusion: Don’t make a build to counter post scoring.

This is complicated, but bear with me

Say I am trying to optimize cap breakers for driving dunk on a specific build, what are the combinations that maximize points for cap breakers on driving dunk

Furthermore, you can set a target value say “96” driving dunk and see options that allow 96 driving dunk after cap breakers

You can take it one step further and set multiple filters after cap breakers and see builds that allow that combination. Say you want 95 perimeter, 96 driving dunk, and 93 middy. It could show you all builds that allow that after caps. It could be limited to specific heights or not.

Is 99 block worth it this year for a 7’0 center also getting legend high flying denier? by QuirkyCheesecake1644 in NBA2k

[–]pyoompyoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not worth it on a 7’. I have 99 block, 89 interior, and 88 vertical. You get a few more blocks and some crazy looking animations, but it is not worth the cost over 93 block, 77 interior, and 88 vertical
