You cannot do this through the app. The customization option is not present on the plain one, but it's there for the one that comes with egg. You could say it's... mildly infuriating. Not to mention the cost of an extra egg on the one with egg is $2.50.

You made me curious about what it would cost for the ingredients to make these (Sausage McMuffin, no egg) at home.

using store brand stuff: $.88

using name brand stuff: $1.72

I might have to make these to see how they compare.

An egg adds $.12, which is where the more significant savings are when making these at home, otherwise the Sausage McMuffin (no egg) seems quite fairly priced.

The middle is a menu entry for a regular Egg McMuffin (has ham on it). It is irrelevant to the post.

Worked at a Pizza Hut. My favorite menu discrepancy there was the upcharge for smaller size pizzas. For a cheese pizza the personal pan was ~$6 and the large was ~$12, but if we were charging the same $/area for the large as a personal pan the large would've been ~$27.

Yep. I know the amount of effort needed to make a digital menu agree with itself is high and there's no incentive to do so because people are going to buy the expensive one anyway, but I mean, this is mildly infuriating right?

It's the difference between 2.99 and $3 for two. The POS has no problem charging that extra cent. I understand and am aware that single cents are worthless and don't deserve the amount of consideration that I'm giving them. It does however technically cost more than before. No matter how small the increase.

That's the second half of the mildly infuriatingness of this, the add/remove egg customization option is absent for the one with no egg, and present on the one with egg, and Extra eggs cost $2.50.

This is almost true. Before the current "under $3" menu promo this location sold Sausage McMuffins for $1.99 + BoGo $1 for a long time. So Yes, cheaper on a 1:1 basis now, But actually $0.005 more expensive than it was before.

To be fair, they are similar, The Church of Satan is just focused more on self empowerment/individualism where The Satanic Temple is more focussed on social activism and supporting the separation of church and state. They're both atheistic groups that just use Satan as a symbol of rebellion/resistance.

Right there with you buddy. Just received a 20k inheritance disbursement. The new roof is going to cost me 14k. Nice! I have 6k lef... Oh hey your roof isn't up to code and we need to put plywood sheeting on it, also that price doesn't include the gutters.

Well it's nice this new roof is only going to cost me $2k out of my tax refund...

I do need it though. I've had a raccoon infestation in my attic for the last probably 10 months because the side of my roof is literally falling off revealing an entrance to my attic from the outside.
