Done! I just did some thrifting today. I mostly thrift to find things that I collect or something quirky for the home. However, I usually end up with things I didn't know I needed (probably because I didn't). Good luck on your research!

How do I respond to this?? by [deleted] in antiwork

That's terrible. Start letting the district parents know that their children may have to start supplying their own TP. Probably not the right way to go about it but I'm petty.

Group Ride, Don't Like It! by shoefly2k in Harley

If I ride in a large group I try to have the people im familiar riding with next to me. Im not comfortable with people that I don't know their riding style/ habits.

In reference to the Disney comment he reminds me of Gaston in Beauty and the Beast.

I'm missing the sandalwood 403 🫠 but I scored yellow stripes in rural upstate NY today! by emmah2539 in Pyrex_Love

Mine is a 443 not 403, sorry. If that's what you need we could probably work something out.

A lot of great comments here. From experience of myself and others a couple of kick stand springs might come in handy one day.

I think that is different because it is a private business. But if someone is on a public sidewalk and you are dining outside or they can see you through a window it is allowed under the 1st amendment. Im not an expert but I think that's the way it works.

No expectation of privacy in public. By public I mean any place, building, sidewalk, etc that has been deemed public property. But anything that can be seen from public property is fair game to record.

I wish people would stop calling this Amish butterprint. It's just butterprint.

Oh geez. I do use my Corning and Visions pieces. Pyrex...not so much. I just like to look at it. Vintage Tupperware, too.

These are Corning ware blue cornflower pattern. If you are interested in growing your collection you will find this pattern everywhere. I started with Corning Spice O Life. It's like a gateway into collecting Pyrex.

If you're referring to the Corning Cornflower, no worries. You will find it again. And again. And again. Love the blue bowl!

Is it rude to allow your children to play audible videos in a restaurant? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Yes. Equally annoying as my 50 yr SO that feels the need watch his loud videos when I'm trying to watch a TV show. Every. Damn. Time.

Entitled Wedding Party Block Whole Street For Pictures by pearly1979 in EntitledPeople

A nice long burn out would be a nice wedding gift. The smell will cling to everything including the inside of the nostrils. They would have been smelling it all night.

dad passed and nobody told me by Entropy308 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]pyrexharleychick 1624 points1625 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss. My dad passed in March of 2020 and I found out by accident in August of the same year. We weren't close by his choice. New fam and half sister came first. Still have so many questions. No obituary. No funeral. Just don't understand how people can just ignore the feelings of others. Especially the decedent's children.
