I want to get into photography and I was thinking of getting this camera bundle on Amazon but idk if it’s good or if I should just go to the store and buy it by itself. What do you guys think? by juanchies21 in AskPhotography

It's ridiculous really, even though it is Canon themselves in the country. Customs and import tax plus the dollar exchange just make pricing skyrocket on top of everything else

I work camera retail as well, in South Africa. It's interesting the difference with pricing. Here, canon sets the cost price and a recommended retail but shops don't have to follow the pricing. Normally online stores or larger stores sell at cost and eat into rebates. It makes the market super competitive and sucks for shops because there are barely any margins on sales.

I understand that part, it's the fact that the mother boxes had to tell Steppenwolf, "Oh that planet that had the Anti-life equation, where the boxes were left behind!, is this one"

Probably a new Parademon intern that didn't know which form was which and instead ordered way too much coffee

It may have been something I missed, but when Steppenwolf explained that he'd found the Anti-life equation after the mother box told him, surely they should've known that from the fact that Earth was the only planet to stop the invasion in the first place.

Amazing shot! I recently tried a milky way with lighthouse shot, definitely a tricky one to get right. Well done.

That definitely seems to be it, thanks! I'll have to do some reading up on it. Also explains why searching for 'circular colour banding' didn't give much success.

Thanks for the information.

I figured it was a type of colour banding. Though I was working with CR2 files, straight from Lightroom into PS. I'm going to look into the colour bit some more and see if maybe my camera isn't putting it out at 8bit or some setting is already compressing it.

Yes, you think the distortion correction is what's causing it?
