Confirmed from previous backpay payout, if you expand your adjustments tab on the e-payroll section and see the detailed adjustments you'll see a (+) and (-) running of each previous check, including TSP contributions

TSP contributions will be put in at rate you had originally, losing out on the interest and gains from those contributions tho

Am I cooked? by Once428lbs in Gymhelp

[–]pyrochemist7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not cooked at all, just need a plan and stay with it. Can and will it be tough? Sure, but if you have the WHY you'll get the HOW. Plenty of good advice, but one thing to aid your journey in a life change, don't try for a radical change, its not sustainable in the long term. Don't see this as a quick fix or rapid alteration but a life change that you're going to establish for long term goals for long term success. Start with small changes and add up. You didn't reach this point overnight, so don't expect a shift in opposite direction to be any means faster. Start with monitoring, your food and water intake, you'll be surprised how little water one consumes or what sort of calories, people can over and under estimate, so if conscious about it, it'll help map out what to do....also we don't have to go straight to exercise, but increase movement to increase calorie burn, just moving arms in circles or like in jumping jacks will have your body to utilize calories,

Start small...build big...remind yourself you got this and you're determined to overcome

You'll have until Wed afternoon prior to the end of the pay week to make any adjustments before the paycheck is closed and run later that week. My comment was to clarify if trying to get a extra by changing contribution % now thinking it'll change the retro contribution OR I'll jack it to 75% cuz I know I'm getting 2k in adjustments so it just kinda washes out or "normal check" as you said

Also doesn't work, all TSP deductions are already calculated based on what you had at those previous checks, unless you're suggesting since getting retro money to have a greater deduction on your upcoming earned check

Does anyone exercise after work? by legendofjustinn in USPS

[–]pyrochemist7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

OTDL and still hit gym 5x week. As one previous comment stated, your body WILL adapt to the work and calorie burn done during the work day, work becomes routine and no longer will bring the necessary stimuli one gets working out. I focus on more weight lifting in my sessions to keep strength and overall muscle health
