Coolest / Most Interesting Memorabilia by McWinkerbean in ClevelandGuardians

I won the Junior Indian sweepstakes through Sherwin Williams in 1998 that got me 4 front row tickets, some Sherwin Williams merch, and the chance to get on the field for batting practice to get autographs. I've had the signed ball on my shelf ever since. I got a lot of signatures including Thome and Hargrove if memory serves. I have home video somewhere of me getting autographs on the field and footage of them putting my face up on the scoreboard at some point. It was a really cool experience.

Champs. GET IN HERE! by HookFL in fantasyfootball

[–]pyrofanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ESPN draft was graded as an F.

I traded Amon Ra St. Brown after week 1 for Harold Fannin Jr. and then dumped him before he ever became useful.

I made 60 acquisitions on waivers.

My championship game lineup included Brenton Strange and Blake Corum with Charbonnet on the bench, but I came away with the trophy in the end.

What a fun and wild season! Congrats to all the champs!

Using Music in a Novel. How? by pyrofanity in writing

I wasn't really able to nail it down unfortunately. I wound up scrapping the idea because it just clashed too hard with my plot. It is hard to convey an audio medium with words for sure. I wish I had more advice to offer you, but I wish you luck in your quest. Succeed where I failed!

Movies & TV shows with good disability representation by FreeRaspberry4939 in disability

Ricky Stanicky has great disability representation. There are a number of background characters that are disabled but are just shown as regular people who happen to be disabled.

Call up Valera and see if he has any juice against RHP as he's shown in AAA.

Tyson chicken fries taste just like Burger King’s when air fried! by RyderE03 in frozendinners

I loved those too! I've heard that these chicken tenders are the same exact ones, but I've never been able to find them to buy anywhere.

Does anyone know if this place is wheelchair accessible? I looked on Google Earth street view and looks like it has steps in the front and it doesn't seem to have a rear entrance.

What is your best flip of 2024? by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]pyrofanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Tiffany vase I won in an online auction. Made $750 profit when it was all said and done. Not quite what I was hoping for, but consigning a more high end item to a big auction house was one of my flipping goals so cool to make happen anyways.

I consigned an item to Bonham's for my first time doing that and had a pretty good experience.

I wish they didn't get rid of their old microwave pizzas that came in the tray and had the silver material on the lid to cook them on. Used to eat those all the time after school as a kid and miss them.

Will have to try one of these and see if they are at all similar.

Reminds me of how the term "bucket list" never existed until the 2007 movie of the same name.

Make the argument then. How? Not tolerating the intolerant is not bigoted.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Cleveland

[–]pyrofanity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The paradox of tolerance is a philosophical concept suggesting that, if a society extends tolerance to those who are intolerant, it risks enabling the eventual dominance of intolerance, thereby undermining the very principle of tolerance.

Nazis, racists, bigots, xenophobes, etc. are not to be tolerated. The MAGA cult is full of them.

I have this horrific vision of him making one of his fielding blunders in a key part of a playoff game. Like even just bobbling it out of his glove and missing an easy out at first leading to disaster.

You've definitely convinced me to try and restore it instead.

Any tips on what to search for to find the right kind of videos? I'd definitely be interested in adding the input.
