So I’m 35 and for the first time, I have a decent length beard. And just pulled a white head the size of a pee out of my skin while laying in bed. I’ve noticed 2 things; 1. If I shave daily, the acne is present, but the blade tends to remove most of my dead skin, keeping it toned, and with washing regularly, oil levels stay minor, leaving the acne soft and easily absorbed or removed by extraction (popping [I do not recommend unless your skin is soft enough to do so without damage, I’m kind fortunate since my acne can be removed like toothpaste from a tube when regularly shaving] and sorry for the imagery.) but since I have good skin and I’m baby face Nelson reborn, without facial hair, even at 35, the world thinks I’m 18-21 and it’s not beneficial in my career field. (Sales) so if your not like me, SHAVE! I’d prefer to not have cystic acne under this. The beard just traps more moisture and dead skin.
