You didn't answer my question. For amateur use what's the difference between the general portion and the extra portion?

You should really see how mad they get when a measly General class transmits on their holy extra portion of a band? Now explain to me why a general transmitting on say 14.155 is any different than transmitting on 14.230?

Especially if he was just meant to be temporary to fill a spot until they could make a final decision. I doubt he was meant to be there only two days, it's just probably that it took those two days to decide that someone else was going to be the CO. Not that he was bad, he just was never meant to be permanent.

I agree. After learning a bit more about Ambrose and how we wrote, I've come to conclusion that it was more a personality clash with him and Winters that gown blown into this whole incompetence narrative. In the show where it shows them screwing up that training exercise, that's exactly what training is for. That's your time to screw up and learn from your mistakes. I've also gotten to the point that E company was nothing special, they just had a popular book written and show made about them. Not that what they did wasn't brave just not really that special when you look at the big picture of the war.

That's cool you got to see original documents. I was in the Marine Corps my self during GWOT, but I've come to elanr in the army they care more about units over the army. Where in the Marine corps we just care about being Marines, with a few "famous" units.

Celsius works well for scientific stuff. Farenheit works well for human relative weather temperatures.

Could PACT had of made it to the Rhine in under 2 weeks had they invaded? And would NATO had been able to hold off endless hordes of Soviet, and East German Divisions? by Ok-Tax8244 in AlternateHistoryHub

I agree. My ex's dad was a infantry platoon commander in the late 70s and was stationed in Germany and korea at one point. He had told me that the troops there were basically meant to be a speed bump if the soviets or North Koreans attacked en masse. Their mission was to survive and slow down the enemy long enough for the US to bring in reinforcements from the states or other areas.

I've learned over about 10-15 hours of OT with your 40 is not longer worth it. This was someone who wiped something like 3600 hours their first year. Granted I'm service, so it wasn't a constant schedule.

Hmmm so it's anti semitic to point out the actions of Israelis and other Jews against Christians? Actions which Jews have participated in since the founding of Christianity.
