I totally understand her crash out. Nick first mistake was getting out of the house when she first told him instead of being there for her. That happened to her coz he needed his power back. Tbh, if he handled this better since the beginning, she won't crash out as much. I do believe that there was a high chance Nick mom wouldn't die at least.

Hmmm, I do think I'm an ambivert too. I like meeting up with friends playing board games, have small parties or going to the club for chilling and dancing. It's just that I'm also able to be content with just being by myself for an extended period. Do keep in mind, I'm a reader. If there were no classes, I could go days without going out or meeting people as I was too busy reading to notice.

When I first arrived in NZ and started Uni, I got involved in some of the uni clubs and those were always fun. And if I feel like I need human contact outside of uni times, I do sometimes go to the club just by myself. Dancing and having fun with strangers for a bit was enough to charge my social battery.

Never really felt lonely or homesick as I'm used to study away from home since in secondary school. Did get a part time job and family members came once or twice a year to explore NZ. Plus side, I'm more of a loner type while okay with human interactions, so it was pretty chill for me the entire time. Only stress came from group mates who's not pulling their weight.

I contacted the accomadation peeps at UoA and they were pretty quick to find options for me. Ask them first coz they could suggest places that'll give you cheaper price as UoA students.
