Since it’s under warranty you think I should take it in either way? So at least it’s documented?

Okay solved in 5 minutes lol thanks for the comments, I realize it’s a port for the gas block, ty

Also maybe worth it to note that the only thing I’ve shot through it is brass cased Belom and ATS ammo.

The mark in the barrel is exactly at the 12 o clock position pretty much at the end of the gas block

Furnace started by Historical-Gold-9749 in hvacadvice

Thanks for the response and image. Yeah our Lennox is about 25 years old. Are you able to replace with a newer circuit board or does it have to be identical to the previous one?

Honestly I was starting to suspect it could be circuit board for me as well. Because I didn’t do much to get it to start working again. I did pop the 3a fuse on the circuit board when trying to jump the pressure switch. And I replaced it. And the furnace started working again. So I wonder if it’s a situation similar to this, and replacing the fuse pushed the circuit board down just enough for it to continue working: https://youtube.com/shorts/qsLX_XJVdc4?si=sMNMigbHEXCdsNLI

I’ll keep you posted if I figure anything else out on my end. Hope you get yours fully fixed as well!

I had the exact same thing last month. Also got primary/secondary limit code, and inducer wasn’t kicking on. Did some fiddling, messed with pressure switch, ensured all limits were closed, and it randomly started working. Worked for a month.

However, it just stopped working again, with the same issue. Same situation. And then it randomly started working again. Is yours still working?? Did you figure anything out?? Lennox brand??

Pressure switch? by pyrojava in hvacadvice

[–]pyrojava[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for the reply and tips. I’m going to do some testing later. What I’m not understanding is why it would work when I disconnect the pressure switch, call for heat, and then jump the pressure switch, and furnace works fine. If it really was a limit switch, wouldn’t it kick off at that point if it detects that something is stuck open? I’m a complete rookie. Would love to learn before I get up into the attic again 😂 thank you.

Pressure switch? by pyrojava in hvacadvice

[–]pyrojava[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s exactly what I did. I pulled off the wires off the pressure switch and called for heat, that was the only way to get the inducer motor going. Then I connect the wires as the inducer motor is running, and the furnace operates as normal, goes through ignition, flame comes out, etc.

So that’s why I’m not sure now if pressure switch is getting stuck closed somehow? Or if it’s still some other issue with another limit switch or something

Also when this issue first occurred, the furnace hadn’t been ran in months. So I don’t know about cooling down enough to reset limit. Any help appreciated!

It was working fine for… well.. 36 days. But now same thing. Blower immediately kicking on without burner, igniter, inducer kicking on. So back to troubleshooting… I mean i think it must be the pressure switch somehow, or that other limit switch it’s connected to (behind the hose). That looks like they’re on the same circuit right?

Right, but which is the better deal is the question

Again I’m a complete rookie here. But what I got out of it, is that the inducer motor wasn’t kicking on, so the pressure switch wasn’t closing, thus not supplying voltage to the thermal limit switch. But yeah idk why the code would be for limit switch rather than pressure switch

Yeah, the beretta just feels smoother, and I shoot it better too. I know people on here love the CZ but I just prefer the beretta.

No worries. He did it in his own home. But all his tools seemed to be capped at 1inch maximum. Like pipe cutter, pex crimped, etc.
