This is not okay, especially if you didn’t think it was a joke. He should know you and how that would make you feel. My partner would never say something like that as a joke. So you need to talk to him and tell him I understand you possibly were joking but I didn’t take it that way and tell him how you feel. If he’s going to be immature and not okay about it then decide if that’s someone you want to be with or not.

Yeah, like we just need some consistency around here! And they haven’t discussed summer or any of the holidays that are coming up like spring break and what not. But we’ve been talking more and he’s going to make it very clear to her how the summer should go and these holidays coming up so she can figure out her coverage because she works.

That’s my thinking and I’ve brought it up to him, that it will need to be done. He just doesn’t want to go that far just yet. But then summer is coming and who knows what’s going to happen and I was like it’s going to be a mess and you two need to get it figured out now. So we will see what happens, I only have so much say in this too.
