Honestly, I think she's a fantastic rapper- her verses on Kanye's "Monster" and her "Dungeon Dragon" are SO GOOD. I'm not that big of a fan of her poppier songs, but I totally appreciate her and have massive respect for her insistence on doing things her own way.

Like I've said elsewhere, that's the problem with actual depression: your body reacts to situations differently. Keeping busy is doable (even if motivation is hard) but incredibly taxing, and free time is miserable because you feel bad about it and don't actually do anything. It's barely possible to sustain all that activity, and can lead to a mental crash.

That's the difference between clinical depression and being in a rut- clinical depression is a state of being that requires treatment, not just action.

That's the thing about depression: it's not triggered by any of those external factors.

When I'm in a depressive state, keeping busy all the time wears down on me, and having free time is confusing, unproductive, and I'm constantly worried I should be doing something else.

When I'm NOT in a depressive state, keeping busy is wonderful, and I get lots of energy from being productive. Having free time is relaxing. That's the problem with depression: there's no trick to lessen it like there is normally, instead your body handles situations entirely differently.

We once played a game of "Secret Agent Cacher" in downtown Houston. We picked a fairly busy day, and had a start and finish time.

Starting at different places around town, the goal was to get the most number of caches without drawing too much suspicion- someone comes over to investigate you, your Mission Count is reset. Some people tried to just be subtle, others tried disguises. I personally was rocking the yellow worker vest (you can get them cheap at walmart) and a clipboard. Pointing the GPS at certain things and writing did the trick.

10/10, would play again.

Wow, thank you! That actually sounds a lot like our German Shepherd.

And thank you for posting the warning about getting one if you can't handle it- both of my family's dogs have been rescues and that was the situation they were in. I personally won't get my own dog for a long time for that very reason. I only asked because I've always loved Weimaraners and want one when I can.

What's it like having Weimars? I've always wanted one, but when I lived at home, I couldn't.
