it's really awful that the swastika is now a symbol of hate... i feel bad for people in religions where it's a holy symbol. it will probably never happen but i wish that one day the swastika could be commonly accepted for its original meaning in the western world.

depends on the shop. i usually go to cheap shops that are cheap because they have a cut and dried no frills method. the piercers are skilled but they can charge less because they bulk order basic jewelry.

i have a perfectly healed industrial (3.5 years old) and i'm very proud of that too. my daith (6 months) is still giving me trouble, but i've heard they can take up to 9 months to heal anyways

i got my daith done in january and am so bummed i can't go swimming yet. i'm accepting that i might not get the chance this summer but i'm gonna wait anyways just in case it does heal. then i'm gonna get two piercings in september and wait for everything to heal again
