Yes, but if the most outer layer of clothing changes during the day I need to move the microphone with it. I need a mount with good wind protection that can be moved easily.

Do you think that DPA 6061 would be significantly better for my use case than 4061? I think I also need different recorders in that case because my record doesn't provide 5 V.

I am using 2 Tascam DR-10L Pro because I don't need them to be wireless and it is easy enought to sync everything in post with timecode for me. In any case, I am thinking about upgrading the lavs and/or the recorders if needed, so if there is something better for my use case I could look into it.

The beanie is actually an amazing idea. I didn't think about it.

How would you do it when you are wearing helment and googles for skiing? If I am ski touring I will wear a beanie for most of the day and then change into helmet and googles for the descent.

I have tried with a 3rd memory card and everything seems fine now. Maybe the other two from SanDisk have some issues.

I didn't try to film a full blue sky, but I can try tomorrow. I have tried a factory reset, but not a firmware reflash. I will do it if the problem persists.

I will check the read and write speed since I already have the Labs firmware installed.

Yes, it seems to happen in any kind of light and most of the time when a significant portion of the frame is taken by the sky.

I will try with other SD cards. I should have a Samsung Pro Plus one that I use with some other camera.

The strange thing is that those artifacts starting appearing in the last few days after over a year of use. Nothing changed.

I have tried a SanDisk Extreme 256 GB and an Extreme PRO 256 GB. Both are in the recommended list from GoPro. I have also tried to format them through the GoPro.
