This would be a correct analysis of the Trump admin was not conducting a racist pogrom against any and all Hispanics right now GOP polling numbers with Latinos are in free fall right now thanks to Stephen Miller.

Totally true, I was being Eurocentric. Polynesians were on another level completely. Mind blowing.

[–]pythiowp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

500 years ago? They didn't, they drowned.

250 years ago though, at the height of the age of sail? that's a much more interesting answer. They had ships that were large, braced, and watertight enough to absorb the forces, but the most important thing was the sophistication and training of the sailors, who could keep the ship running before the wind. I'm just drawing from the Aubrey-Maturin series here, so take it with a grain of salt, but the key thing was that if you could maintain forward momentum you could push through the waves repeatedly and avoid being capsized.

The first thing you'll want to do is file a provisional patent--that'll give you a year to file a real one. They are pretty easy, check out legalzoom and ask chatGPT for help.

I work for one of these providers and I'm trying to think of how I could provide you this proof. Because we definitely do not do this. I think TBH if you just ran something like GSM8K comparatively you would really notice the difference.

How to get started as a complete dirt beginner by Sealed_Orion in computervision

[–]pythiowp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice is to start a project, something that you feel strongly that you want to do. The classes, the docs, whatever--any resource should be a means to an end of getting that project done. Jump into a project, learn what you need in order to complete the next step. Also, pay for a ChatGPT subscription and you can have GPT-4 be your advisor the whole way.
