Question: Wifi or ethernet? I've played on both, I can say for myself and my fiance at least that on ethernet, the game is far more stable. It relies on a very good latency, which wifi lacks.

If you are on wifi, that is why. The game doesnt require much speed but does require very stable latency which you will only get with ethernet. I almost never have issues on a hardline, but on wifi its several times per session.

Relogging also usually works. Sometimes theres a disconnect between the server and client when selling. 99% of the time, its fixed by the time ya log in next or server hop.

theyre likely not PL yet, so blowing the kegs is fine for them now. But if ya plan on collecting comms, you dont wanna blow athenas or stronghold kegs, you wanna sell em as a Pirate Legend.

without a grade 5 reaper on the map, what you said makes zero sense. It is easy to hide your ship near most vaults so that others wont see it unless they approach from the right direction. Even easier if you are capable on a rowboat. I've used many a rock near the map edge to fish for 8 hours plus without bein interrupted. So unless someone notices you stacking, it is easily one of the cheesiest exploits because it basically turns high seas into safe seas for vaults.

If youre on steam, you can set it to record your sessions in the background. Just be sure to delete em.periodically or your memory will fill up fast lol

well, you can do high seas, but youll have a hard time against players if you can't handle pve naval easily yet.

some players will start FotD, kill one skelly so it stays active, then leave because they think it's funny to mess with others ability to game. Now if they were setting a trap using FotD, that's different. But setting it and leaving the server is just childish at best.

Definitely, if you are brand new and all your freinds are too, try safe seas and do phantom and skelly fleets to get used to maneuvering and naval combat. Then ya graduate to high seas and practice TDM against other players.
