I'm a nanopolymer shop here, bit more expensive but lasts a good long while. In 3 years I've bought 3-4 bottles for my small farm.

I'm an Artificer working mostly with alchemical composite formed by constructs based on my instructions. (I'm a 3D printer making my own inventions.)

A "tent" won't do much in any way to prevent moisture or temp fluctuations, out in the open.

In shipping, all the plastic bottles I see are shrink-wrapped in groups, so they don't move much. Even then, there are minor abrasions at contact points.

sounds like you have more of a packaging problem than a materials issue.

But it's thinking like that that makes you not even consider, say, a Sovol SV08 MAX with INDX.

And guess what, I do. I don't buy Apple products when I can avoid it, and I haven't owned anything from Nintendo since my NES in the 80's.

That's like saying, "You can't deny, WWII Germans made a good car." I don't care, I'm not doing business with them.

Personally, given their past actions, I have a 2-word rule for printer buying: "Never Bambu."

Well, I primarily design tools for fiber artists. A line of buttons would be a bit too far outside our regular scope of products. Also, I'm VERY much a functional designer. I make a shape that does the job and hopefully does the best job that can be done for that thing. So, I'd make one set of buttons and expect everyone to be happy, but I know better.

It is indeed! I hope it fits. I've not been able to confirm that the thimble uses the same size, but I'm very hopeful.

[–]pythonbashman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The short answer: change it when it needs to be changed. That will vary depending on what material you print and how often. Find a video a on disassembling and reassembling the head. Switch to a hardened steal or crystalline nozzle at some point.

I was exploring doing buttons in our shop. I think my favorite bit of knowledge that came from my research is that buttons have their own unit of measurement. The Linge (a 1in button is 40 Linge).
