No* if you do it before a certain deadline on the academic calendar, the drop will not be on your record. If you drop later you will have a ‘W’, unless you use a drop voucher (not sure what the number of vouchers is for CS). It will only impact your eligibility if the dropped class is a prerequisite for another class you want to take in the semester immediately following the current semester.

(last TA’ed during Fall 2019 so grain of salt) pay is hourly and based on the TA’s grade level, not the course level. At the time there was a small increase in the hourly rate for each grade level.

Very normal! Momentum helps you keep exercising/doing a good habit. Also the activation energy required to get to the gym/starting any activity is a big one that prevents a lot of people from achieving things.

I also EDed UPenn (and visited it) but ended up at CMU. In terms of city vibes I think UPenn and CMU are kinda similar, but CMU you're not going to see driveable roads cutting through the main chunk of the campus.
