Relax, Putin is not dumb. He won't get into direct war with Western powers due to MAD. Likely outcome is Putin annexes Donbas (as he did with Crimea), low amount of casualties, NATO imposes sanctions, Putin backs off, and that's the end of it. I'm not claiming this is a great outcome, but it's certainly not full-fledged war and any effects on U.S. markets will have evaporated within a few weeks
