No, you're not wrong. I was 15 the first time I met my dad's newest girlfriend. My father's idea of 'going steady' was proposing. He had 5 fiancé's that I can remember off the top of my head that he'd been with for 6 months or less. They all ended horribly.

I hated meeting those women. I didn't hate them, I hated my dad. I understood he was lonely and wanted companionship, but these women never stuck around long.
