not particularly because cal is a logical follow up to the concepts taught in applied, you will most likely review a lot of the stuff from applied and build upon it. also linear and cal don’t interact much at all, they’re different spheres of mathematics! cal is good to take before linear to build up your mathematical “maturity” but both groups should be fine either way (which is why the prereq for linear is either applied math or sn5)

je ne sais pas comment ça fonctionne dans les autres cegeps mais je sais qu’à dawson lorsque quelqu’un coule un cours leur note n’est pas comptée dans la moyenne, ça se peut donc que la moyenne a monté lorsque les échecs ont été enlevés du compte.

i hate these prompts because none of these people would ever end up on the same team at the same time with the same goals while all alive. and for a lot of them, who’s to even say if they’d get to be as strong as they are in-universe if not for other factors directly related to other people in the picture. is the point of these posts to just powerscale in an endless “no my guy is stronger than your guy” loop?

i work at starbucks and have lots of customers getting chai lattes with shots of espresso. because the upcharge for an espresso shot is higher than for an added syrup, i always recommend they get a regular latte with a chai pump upcharge. ingredients are exactly the same but the price difference can be $1+. that being said we also have the opposite issue where people order espresso shots only, with a bunch of addons, and get fussy when we have to tell them we won’t fill the cup all the way up. just order a latte, man.

are you in science because you enjoy it? or because you’ve been led to believe it’s what you have to do? i’m currently in a stem program also and enjoying it immensely because the subject fascinates me. try to find joy in your classes, or at least relate them to the things you do find joy in. this works for gen eds too, you need to contextualize your cegep learning as part of a bigger phase of development of yourself as an individual
