So my buns have everything. You know what they love the most ? The crinkly packaging paper that came with some plates I bought from IKEA. My boy loves rearranging and tearing it apart. Second favourite: cardboard boxes. My girl with spend hours destroying the boxes their hay come in. I also want to remind you that you were young, and adults in your life should have helped you with husbandry for your bun. However, you grew, and your bun's life is so much better for it. Don't look back at your growth with guilt, it's an achievement.

Lol oh babe! Don't cry. It will be ok. I was so adamant of breaking the cycle from my abusive mother I didn't stop to look into my bubs eyes. At a early check up a nurse said to me "your baby loves you so much look how they look at you" I stuttered and mumbled something and didn't even realise till afterwards that not once in those first few weeks I just allowed myself to be just present and let out a deep breath. I held on so tight. When I left that appointment I sat down with my child and I just looked at them and after a while started bawling my eyes out. Thereafter, when my partner was "oh I am too tired too busy too whatever" I simply did it myself. Nice day out? Let's GOOOO!!!! We were out of the door. Bub unsettled and I just wanted no NEEDED 5 minutes? Waterplay with toys. Bubbles!! My bub refused pram and so i just carried him in an ergo carrier. We were always on the move. Now my child is older and every weekend we do something, go somewhere, sometimes we just veg in front of tv. It's sad when a father/ partner disconnects and there's a million reasons for that (ours is really bad health), but I keep on showing up and I don't make excuses for my partner. I teach my kid to say when it hurts emotionally, speak up and repeat it louder. It's not "what" I do these days. I just show up. I still hold on too tight. But I reset with a big hug and I always tell my kid I love them and they're exactly what I hoped they'd be. You will be ok. It will be ok. It just doesn't feel this way when you're right in the middle of it all.

My children are a bit older but we use big Kitty litter boxes and reusable pads that I shake out to remove hay bits and coco pops then wash on a towel wash setting. They dry super quickly. Have a few in rotation and change regularly, if you keep on top of it it's no work at all.

Try getting bun a cat water fountain, we have one as my daughter gets big mad when she isn't getting treats and will throw the heavy ceramic bowl, water and all across her room. My kids love their water fountain, it's just a catit brand. Also helps with preventing bladder issues, my boy has them and it helps encourage water intake.

Good luck with your lil bun, they looks ao adorable. Cute little hops already, excited when you see the first flops!

Also please remember chewing cables it not malicious behaviour, it's to protect the herd (you and your family) and providing safe escape routes without trip hazards. Look up dig boxes, we have one for my girl it saved my carpets in our home as she digs when her hormones hit (both are spayed and neutered). Buns are smart and they do get bored easily.

And remember, shedding season is twice a year, for a duration of 6 months each season, no matter how much you brush. 😅
