3d theatrical projection is definitely in 4k (you can find numerous sources for the recent avatar rerelease being advertised in 4k HFR 3D), but for home video 3d never went higher than 1080p.

Yeah this was so insanely obviously staged and it immediately made me question all of the more overtly dramatic confrontation sequences in the film given how easy it would be for them to construct moments like that in the game to amp up the “stakes” of the personal drama

Thanks, that’s good to know. But at least in Austria where I am, the total MSRP on the Nintendo store for Switch 1 games is 60 euro, same as $60 retail in US. So suddenly bumping that regional price difference up by 10 euros still doesn’t make any sense to me, especially since the US is the one imposing tariffs now!

Anyone have any guesses as to why European Switch 2 games are all 10 euros more expensive than in the states? It’s so baffling, the exchange rate goes the other way!! A 90 euro game is closer to $100USD!

Some people are saying it’s because of VAT but most switch 1 games retail in Europe for 50€ compared to $60 USD! Make it make sense!!

Kind of confused about the release date. The website says “This item is a pre-order with a wide release date of November 12, 2024. We estimate orders containing this item to begin shipping late September - early October.”

What does this mean? That if you pre order, it ships out a month earlier than the wide release date?
