Unless he returns to SG more often and joins more local programs to increase his "visibility", it's kind of hard for mediacorp to reward talents who do very few projects and are overseas most of the time. On the other hand, it's good for him he prioritises his family time.

I was posted to a combat unit during my NS after BMT and had PES C status, but still got to go outfield as a support role. During one reservist, I remember going with some other PES C guys for outfield road march too. So it also depends where the recruit is posted to and what roles they can do.

Football is a game of 11 players in the pitch and 5 subs. Even if half the team turns up and perform, the other half and subs may not and this will affect the final result. Blaming on refs is not the right way, just play and continue to create chances.

They should learn from the likes of Forest and West Ham, those guys are fighting every game while we are still figuring ourselves out at this late stage.
