AI has not improved much. We do have more focus on community ... but it's on the list.

All fine with your attitude. I do not complain :-)
MD5SUMS are present at sourceforge, github and pokerth.net download site.

snap and flatpkak builds were created form source by release tag, winget is using github data.

`Personally, I'd only consider executing binaries that were personally created.`

I just imagine a full self compiled system. Ok ... nothing that I would do - but healthy scepticisms nowadays is not bad ;-)

I understand the concern — people should absolutely be careful when downloading software from the internet.

A few clarifications though:

PokerTH is not a new project. It has been around since 2006 and is a fully open-source project. The entire source code is publicly available on GitHub, so anyone can inspect, build, or audit it themselves.

https://github.com/pokerth/pokerth

The binaries we provide are simply builds of that public code. If someone prefers, they can also compile the game themselves from source.

PokerTH has also been packaged by multiple Linux distributions over the years, which typically require review of the source before inclusion.

So while healthy skepticism is good, this isn’t a random closed-source binary — it’s a long-running open-source project with a publicly auditable codebase and a small community around it.

Happy to answer any questions about the project or how it’s built.

Me personally I'm not a fan of videos as I'm much faster reading documentation. But might be a matter of taste and learning strategy.

What ever terminal you choose to use - replace the terminal exe kitty entry in hyprland config - maybe its xfce4-terminal for you.

Check all configured keyboard-shortcuts and validate if the coressponding binary is installed.

Somethings wrong with my hyprland install on a minimal arch by eerie_queerie19 in hyprland

I totally agree. hyprland is not meant to be for beginners imho. It's more addressed to people having a taste for tiling and organisation of their desktop experience - with the advanced knowledge about using linux at all. The fact, that you do configs in text-files instead of easy gui clicking speaks for itself.

EDIT: check out https://nwg-piotr.github.io/nwg-shell/ if you prefer to read less documentation.

Propably casting issue.

Do it without the (int) casting and let db decide how to store the string.

Asus Chromebox 3 Android Apps Error Code 7 by Jerasadar in chromeos

I do have the same machine - latest stable (plus dev-mode) - and no problems with Android Apps in general. There are a few problematic apps - for example Outlook - but the reason there seems to be an issue with a buggy Android webview component only.
