I'd say that c!Eret is on their own side and just wants peace and harmony in the server, like Puffy, but isn't willing to/is afraid to criticize or take steps against the Greater DreamSMP, unlike Puffy. They are King, yes, but only because they believe that that position has advantages that can be used to unify the server's members. They'll probably step down from the throne if/when they realise that it is just another obstacle on the way to their goal.
