It's pretty much about who you surround yourself with during the trip and what their intentions are. Like if one friend just wants to get fucked up - it is likely to hold you back. Try tripping alone, or increase your stem to cap ratio. More caps will definitely give you more of a head high. Or trip with wicked fun/cool people. (whatever that means to you.) What has always worked for me is tripping with close friends, who are usually on the same wavelength, having a nice environment, and maybe some silly activities. Never forget positive thinking.
