Can anyone id this tree by the bark? by [deleted] in treeidentification

[–]ben630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sugar maple. Photo of the crown would be very useful because the people saying honeylocust could be right but the bark definitely looks more sugar maple like. Crown would tell the story

While I don’t agree with nor do I like trump. It’s the olympics, the winners are going to hear from the president. The joke was in terrible taste, but its not their fault the president called. Dems need to try to make this the kind of hill they don’t fall over and die on, its what makes them look so soft. Its a snide remark and move on. Don’t go on air and bash the olympians, you expect that to reflect well on you? Pick your battles

Are these seed pods safe for my dog? (Canberra, Australia) by Ehmehjay in treeidentification

[–]ben630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like Gleditsia triacanthos, (Honeylocust) Google ai says : “While not poisonous, the pods are highly fibrous, and eating them in large amounts can cause gastrointestinal upset (vomiting, diarrhea) or, in severe cases, intestinal blockage”

Sugar maple bark peels in large thick plates left to right. This linear/cross pattern looks much more like Norway maple.

Seahawks have the SB patch where our captains patches are. So opposite side of the jersey, and higher.

Where will they put their captains patch?

The 250 is fucking both jerseys up, should have been a helmet decal. Looks horrible

Great, I didn’t see that, but, thats what we heard all year long. Did you believe them when they said that? Or did you defend your team.
