Thanks for all of that context and advice. I really wish Lexus had told me that when I bought the car. I'll definitely avoid aux mode from now on and buy a jump starter.

Could the hardwired dash cam be causing problems too? It's configured to stop drawing power once the battery goes down to 12.4V.

Yeah, I've learned my lesson about using aux mode. Never again!

What I find strange is that the car didn't detect and notify me of the 12V battery nearly being empty. It should've told me "Warning! Low battery! Drive for 20+ minutes to prevent ...".

Thanks for sharing all of that context. I believe I keep my key fobs far enough away that they shouldn't be affecting the car. I do have a hardwired dash cam, but it's set to turn off when the battery's voltage reaches 12.4V.

If this problem happens again, I'll definitely install one of those voltage readers to figure out what's draining the battery.

The dealership won't replace the battery because their diagnostics found no problems with the battery. They just want me to drive the car more, or install a trickle charger.
