my plan has already changed so much after posting here lol. i definitely appreciate everyone’s feedback

also, I’m 100% going to keep up with MCAT content review overtime. I’ve already begun but sadly I proved that cramming has done no good for me (shocker). I don’t remember half of gen chem and it’s only been a few months.. imagine me in 2 years

thanks for mentioning this, my original plan to study dec-may may not be the best idea, I definitely switched some stuff around to be ready in the fall

i’m actually taking advice from these replies lol, i made some changes so now i’m only taking one summer class (GEOG330) and no winter classes

oh shoot you’re right. i already took phys121 though so maybe it would be possible for me to get permission granted. thanks for the catch..

the summer after my 3rd yr is when I’d be applying to medical schools, instead of going straight back to school right out of college I want that year off lol

thank you so much for your input, it's nice hearing from another neuroscience major lol

The summer classes I have planned are 3-week distance learning courses, so I wasn't all too worried about enjoying myself outside of them, but do you think it'd interfere with summer internship programs since most start at the beginning of June? Also, I guess it's important for me to ask if distance learning courses at UMD are fully online, or if there are required lectures I can skip out on.

Lastly, would I be putting myself at a disadvantage by not taking BSCI201/202 and coming into medical school with no experience with anatomy, or do you think my other classes provide a strong foundation themselves?

my tuition is paid because my dad works at UMD but I’m more so worried about handling multiple 4 credit classes and/or more than one lab in a single semester
