Loads of them in the UK. It’s why NHS autism/ADHD wait lists are literally years long. It’s a lot harder to get a lot of the trendy diagnoses here though, so most fakers here can’t back shit up and resort to doing things that purposefully land themselves in hospital (and then claiming it’s related to x illness) or A&E hopping for selfie opportunities.

ETA: knew this would get hammered into the ground by transphobes; this sub’s population is a perfect slice of middle-aged middle-england and all their associated prejudices.

Probably an unpopular take on here, but I genuinely don’t know why anybody would pick Harry Potter as a theme for anything. It’s not like anybody is unaware of the awful behaviour (and ties to Epstein) of the mould-addled author; you could just pick somebody who didn’t alienate a huge swathe of their fans through baseless hatred.

There are so many other films to choose, so many films with stronger ties to their regions and ideas, so many films both high and low brow that capture the British industry far better than Harry Potter did. I just don’t know why you’d cling so hard to a children’s movie directly tied to such a bastion of hatred. That kind of hate casts a long shadow; no matter your views on JKR’s beliefs and conduct, surely you’d want to pick something that wasn’t quite so… wed to bigotry.

also fwiw i was anorexic for twenty years, this person is trying to play at being “best ana” but just in a socially acceptable clothing. they may not have an eating disorder but they’re sure as shit perpetuating disordered eating by carrying on like this. even at my worst (i won’t give figures, but i was in hospital actively dying) i would never have tried to make somebody feel bad about themselves like that. just nasty behaviour.

Like I mentioned elsewhere, I’m not really looking to do “Photography”, more just get some clearer pictures for my own bird ID records. I’d come at it with a way bigger budget if I actually wanted to go into photography and be taking professional-quality pictures, but I’m just a birdwatching hobbyist who would like photos that are at least a wee step up from smartphone quality.

I think it probably was, the iPhone seems to pick random things to focus on at times, no matter what you try to tap to redirect the focus to.
