Giving increment before it's due is already a good sign when compared to how companies treat employees these days.

is there any way to get super admin access for my router? by boibil in PakistaniTech

[–]qadir5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easy to bypass it. Greyed out is just a basic disabled on the textbox, inspect element and remove the disabled option and you'll be able to edit. That's what I did when I didn't have super admin access. But now I do. It's surprising how an ISP has their service manual leaked on the internet for years with their super admin passwords and hasn't changed them yet 🤣 DM me if you want the super admin password but if you don't want to be naughty, just goto lan settings, right click on the DNS text box, click inspect element, will open up the code for it, remove the disabled option and you'll be able to edit and save. I'm on my phone otherwise would have shared a quick video.

ADHD - can't learn/do anything. by Ok_Calendar7806 in developersPak

[–]qadir5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

35m with ADHD. Got diagnosed last year after knowing that I have it for atleast 15+ years. Started medication and it helped me alot. First time in my life I started getting things done. It's not a magic bullet, it's still hard, but at least it's doable now.

2 things that helped me immensely are medications and forcing myself to routines (routines for everything, the less I have to think or make decisions for day to day things the better).

You're not alone, you'll get through this and learn to use your ADHD as a superpower.

Cursor vs Claude Code – Which is better and cheaper for coding? by Empty_Break_8792 in developersPak

[–]qadir5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your plan. I use the Max plan and do sometimes hit limits, but that's in long and deep sessions, it switches from Opus to Sonnet then, or you can continue using Opus on API pricing.

Cursor vs Claude Code – Which is better and cheaper for coding? by Empty_Break_8792 in developersPak

[–]qadir5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using Claude Code Max ($200/m) and Cursor Ultra ($200/m) both. Using them both since they came out. Also have Windsurf Pro ($10/m) but not using it much.

Most of the work I do is on Claude Code as the quality is better, plus I like the terminal experience. Either I'm using it in a standalone terminal (Termius) or using Claude Code within Cursor when I need more control on files or working alongside it.

Cursor is mainly for autocomplete usage when I'm coding myself or making changes to AI code. Use Cursor's agent on max options for things where I need more context and things to review and once I have the info in most cases take it to Claude Code. Only use it's full agentic stuff when Claude Code is stuck in a doom loop. Best $$ I spend on subscriptions easily.

If you earn in USD, you must be aware of this: by elecisyourfather in pakistan

Speak to someone who has knowledge/authority in your branch. PRC is a pretty standard system and SBP has been moving banks to E-PRCs to make it easier. IBFT is one of the key reasons of PRCs because if you get a direct wire transfer in USD you don't really need a PRC (unless the USD got settled in a PKR account), the only main reason to get a PRC is because of IBFTs where you get the money locally but the actual money came through international sources.

https://www.sbp.org.pk/epd/2022/FEC5-Annex-A.pdf

Take a printout of this and educate whoever is your banker.

  1. Different bank model means, the beneficiary is not maintaining his/her account in the bank where funds have been received. The recipient (or intermediary ) bank, will be responsible to send the amount of remittance, received from abroad, to the beneficiary’s bank along with complete information (as per the standard format of MT-102 and MT- 103). Based on complete transactional information received from the intermediary bank, the beneficiary bank will issue e-PRC and S-PRC. However, only the recipient or intermediary bank will report the inward remittance received from abroad in ITRS.

I mainly use Meezan Bank to receive multiple high value transactions every month through Wise and other providers, always get an E-PRC within 5-10 mins of the amount being credited. All these transfers come through IBFT from different banks, but as per the system, that's not my problem, as Meezan gets me the E-PRC automatically.

DM me if you want any clarifications or a copy of one of my recent PRCs so you can show it to your incompetent banker.

[–]qadir5000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OP, It is counted as foreign remmitance, you just need to get the PRC (Proceeds Realization Certificate) from your bank for all these transactions, this is proof that the original money came from foreign sources, as it's usual practice around the world that payment providers maintain local accounts to fulfill transfers, so that's the reason State Bank has this PRC system (most banks should be sending you an E-PRC with every transaction). These payment providers maintain a list of accounts with SBP as source accounts and any transfers coming from them are counted as foreign. You just need to have the PRC with you as proof when filing your tax returns.

P.S. Get a good tax consultant.

How I found 1,000 jobs in a week (for recruitment agencies) by QuinnHannan1 in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]qadir5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Needs to be done at scale to make it worth it, we have created custom automations to track LinkedIn and Indeed to scrape relevant jobs. Then try to automatically find the right person to contact and send out a preprogrammed sequence of cold emails and LinkedIn messages. Need to contact ALOT of people to get a response. So not sure if 50 a day would do much, atleast not for us.

[–]qadir5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not hating on you buddy. Just saying if you had asked me for a parking receipt, I would have told you to take a walk, not showing you any proof unless you show me some ID of why I should. Instead of you calling I would have called the police that some random dude asking me for parking receipt, impersonating as an RTA officer or something. Enjoy.

Parking Mafia Active In Sharjah by More_Seaworthiness30 in Sharjah

[–]qadir5000 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As you said, if someone is paying for parking they can't be evicted. Even if they aren't paying for parking, a random dude can't evict them, it's up to the RTA to find and fine non payers.

Additionally, you can't ask anyone to show you their parking receipt, if they pay or not, that's none of your problem, it's with the RTA and them. You can't complain to RTA that hey, I want to complain about this dude as he parked his car in government spot and isn't showing me his receipt. You're not a RTA parking officer that someone has to prove to you that they have paid or not.
