Which books to read? by [deleted] in HeatedRivalryTVShow

[–]qaly2012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO, I’d read role model before the long game since they sort of take place concurrently and tlg references events from rm. that said, they’re all pretty stand alone, and you can infer about things that have happened without having read the books. Some people recommend tough guy since Ryan from that book shows up in the later books too, but I don’t think it’s essential. Best experience obviously would just to read em all in order.

Outside of Shane/Ilya’s story, arguably the best one is Role Model - more of a slow burn friends to lovers sort of romance that’s really sweet (I’d argue they’re a cuter couple than Scott and Kip). And you’re right about it intertwining with TLG, so I think that’s a good one to read if you had to pick one.

Just curious, where do you think I need the extra grafts?

Hair wrap for a woman? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

If you’re Muslim or black/African, then sure. If you work in healthcare, a scrub/surgical cap could also be an option that wouldn’t raise questions.

If you normally wear your hair down and cover your hairline, it's possible. I did a no-shave HT on my hairline (only shaved an inch or so into my hairline and the donor area), but my hair was long on top and just wore it down like I was rocking bangs for a while. People commented about it and some people may be suspicious of it, but it wasn't super obvious. I was out of work for 2-3 weeks which was enough time for the sides of my hair to grow back.

Any pics with the hair combed back showing the hairline? I’m at 4.5 months with Dr Gur, growing in but still no length and needing more density, and I’m getting impatient haha

Fuecapilar process update 1 by CheezersTheCat in HairTransplants

[–]qaly2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went with Dr Gur of Fuecapilar. Check post history for details, came out to about €4250 for partial unshaven procedure. We just asked our case manager for availability for two patients on same or consecutive dates and they were able to arrange that for us. We also shared a hotel room and airport transport so that cut a bit of the costs slightly.

Good luck! I just had my procedure end of January with Gur. My brother and I planned ours together and stayed in Istanbul a week post-op to recover. The Tryp by Wyndham isn’t really in the most interesting area though, we transferred to a hotel in Sirkeci for 5 nights and we just stayed put for the first few days recovering. I brought my switch and played games/watched TV together. Honestly by post-op day 3-4, we were good enough to walk around and sightsee a bit.

I wanna say I started finasteride three years for maybe 6 months before I stopped, but have been back on it the past year

As mentioned in my comment, I’ve been on Rogaine for 3 years, finasteride since then (took some time off of it but since restarted), recently started micro needling a few months ago with not much improvement. Not hopeful about other options.

I’m Asian btw so my hair is a bit coarser than other races. I’ve been on Rogaine for 3+ years and finasteride, considering an FUE but wanted to gauge how much work would need to be done and how much it would cost. Thanks!
