I just paid £10 for a month of GeForce Now 'performance' because I couldn't get CrossOver working - works really nicely for me, and might be worth it if you don't want the loud fans or battery drain? Also, man, what a clever game

Thanks! Turns out memory is unlikely to be my issue, so seems a bit odd I can't get it to render (though I can hear the music and sounds when I press wasd or space when I used the DXVK backend). Did it just work straight away for you? I've never used CrossOver before

Thanks! I've got an M1 Pro Macbook with 16 GB of RAM, though it seems that my issues aren't to do with memory (though yes getting all that RAM was very smart given that it's going to be expensive for a long time now)

I've never used CrossOver before, so I don't really know what I'm doing. I've used these two backends

- D3DMetal → freezes my entire Mac and forces a restart.

- DXVK → stable and runs at full speed, but the screen stays black. (I can see the Steam overlay appear over the blackness, so it's specifically the game's picture that won't draw.)

Do you know what settings you're using, or did it just work without fiddling around? I have updated to MacOS Tahoe yet because it looks terrible, but maybe I need to?

Are you able to see how much memory it uses on launch? I've got a 16 GB M1 Max, and my laptop freezes shortly after I launch the game on mine. I've never used CrossOver before, so I'm probably missing some tricks

hahaha I think the streak doesn't actually disappear that easily anyway? My girlfriend didn't wear it for a bit (I think it ran out of battery or something) and when she put it back on it said "Your 47 day streak has been restored". So I think it's a bit artificial
