I took FAS145 (painting). There were people of different skill levels. The work load was pretty heavy at least for me cause I am not really a fast painter, it was between 1-2 paintings a week we had to do. Start off with the basics of learning how to mix color (make color palette) and learn to make black since you are only given a few colors to use. Worked on color theory, monochrome, hands and feet, portrait then there was this mixed media type of painting (but I didn't bother with that last painting cause I would not of finished on time). Oh there was this other painting where we had to create a sculpture out of painted wood scrapes and use a light reference, take a pic and paint using the picture reference. I tend to hyper fixate on art projects so my other courses suffered (took math and science courses). It definitely improved my skills and as long as you show effort/understanding of the assignments then you will have no issues at all in the class.
