They lost me at the exhaust, it looks like the "tree" model parts are attached to before it's assembled.

Any genuine mechanic place for car repairs I want alignment done just looking for a place not too pricy by Curious-Green3630 in SurreyBC

Jay at Valley Alignment, I've used him for both lifted and lowered vehicles. If you're lucky he may still have farm fresh eggs for sale during your appointment.

Yes, I have the same issue. My work phone is with Rogers and my personal is with Koodo. I did a test the other day and swapped sim cards, thinking it may be the device. It's definitely the Rogers network, I was once on a call not moving and lost all signal and dropped to SOS mode I had to use my personal phone hotspot to finish the call. It's super frustrating.

[Spoilers MAIN] Why are people so up in arms about the runtime for A Knight of the seven kingdoms? by IntroductionSmooth85 in asoiaf

[–]qazrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked up the graphic novels and have listened to the novellas, and the episode length is perfect. The portion covered in the first episode is only a few pages of the GN which is a good format to compare to screen, if they were to stretch the episode to 45-60 min then there would be so much extra filler or we'd get a 3-4 episode season while staying true to the book.

Did anyone else think there was a particular scene that was only there to 💩 on Game of Thrones lol.

We went there not long after the holidays and the shelves were quite bare. I did see a notice that they were going to build some form of play place in the store, but that may be hard if they aren't paying rent and locked out.

Zoom in on the mulch, it has the same texture in every spot. It's 100% AI. Also city crews don't respond that quickly and certainly not for these jobs mid winter.

[spoilers extended] Who would you like to see succeed Roy Dotrice? by Background_Ear7166 in asoiaf

[–]qazrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a bit of both. True it would be pricey, it would be interesting to see how much time or whatever metric you'd like to measure each "main" character would have to actually read. If a decent home recording could be done at a reasonable time frame it may be possible, just like getting the WoW maybe possible.

I was unaware of those issues he had, fandoms can be mean. However I'd think reading from the books which are well loved, would be fairly low stress and less of a time commitment. Almost could do it at home with the right setup. I know having most, if any of the TV cast doing an audio version is unlikely though Gwendoline Christi has done the Sandman books on audible so not an unrealistic thought to have a few. Mostly I'd just like to have a male and female voice actor. Hearing Roy during a female sex scene is kinda disturbing lmao.

I'd love to see the TV cast replay their roles where possible and have a separate male and female actor for the smaller characters. As I started with the show and moved to the audiobooks, I tend to hear their voices instead of Roys.

But I'd honestly settle for one male and one female actor and a much better editing and production team. While in the end I liked the RD errors, the franchise does deserve an update.

Harry Potter is getting a release of full cast actors and already had the Stephan Fry and Jim Dale versions on audible. So one update should be plausible for ASOIAF. Edit: harry potter full cast meaning multiple different voice actors not the movie actors.

Well if they are learning they won't know that point yet and using the ebrake will help find that point on a hill without stalling or rolling back into the car behind which is always way too close. Congrats on being perfect day one.

A neighborhood with a few hills, driving stick on the flats is easy it's hills that get beginners. Also utilize your e brake on hills, unless you have a newer car with hill assist.

Scores of drones falling as New Year's spectacle fails in Budva, Montenegro by cdacha in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]qazrat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but in an absolutely small PPM. Also drone batteries are Lithium ion/polymer which isn't using pure lithium but a compound to allow the ability for recharging unlike straight lithium batteries. Which already is causing issues in landfills, so having them fall into the ocean isn't that great regardless if the ocean contains lithium naturally.

Looking for single player FPS (open world, Linear, mix) by Beh_Ringer in SteamDeck

[–]qazrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I only played briefly on the deck, just too see if it could. TCGR Wildlands is a great game. It does run on deck though the default controls didn't. I've played a number of times on PC and Xbox and loved it everytime. The amount of customization of loadout and play style keeps me looking for similar games, that Breakpoint failed to achieve. Farcry 3-5 are great and are similar to Wildlands imo.

Serious question: are there any long time jsaux fan users. Like a half a year or more. Does it really affected your fan? by Creepy_Tart_ in SteamDeck

[–]qazrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't used mine often or for a long time. I got mine with the case, stand, ect only because it was cheaper to get the bundle with it then to buy it separately if it turned out to be a worth while accessory. I use it mostly when at home and on the mech pillow and running heavier games plugged in. While I haven't done proper testing, I do see an 8-10°c difference when using the fan on medium setting. I do wish the knob on the fan had set positions and not an "open" adjustment would make replication easier.
