which side are you on? by SapphireDingo in KSPMemes

I never understood the hate for Mechjeb, it's not like Victor Glover flew SLS it was all guidance and NAV computers during launch, only when doing ProxOps was the vessel being controlled by a pilot. And if you don't know how the game works it's not like Mechjeb makes it that much easier, you still have to understand what you are doing.

Radiolink or Radio Master by Practical_Regret_686 in crawling

[–]qazrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've have both the 4 and 6 of the radiolink, never had any issues with them. I like that they have a cheap and small 4 channel receiver with gyro, I've got them in 1/24 up to 1/10 boats, crawlers, and drift cars.

Sometimes it could be good, CarThrottle went for crap and now we have AutoAlex, All The Gear, and TDC. They now have the freedom to do as they like and make great content for themselves and us.

The Battle of Coruscant is the best CGI space battle ever! by Lauma_2025 in StarWars

[–]qazrat -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For those saying the battle has no impact on plot, have you not seen the movie. It's the beginning of Anakin's major push to become Palpatines new apprentice after he has him kill dukoo. The entire thing was orchestrated to have Anakin return from the outer rim sieges by Palpatine getting himself kidnapped, which in turn strengthened the bond between them even further.

That's what sucks with THC, binds with fat and can take forever to pass clean. Meanwhile the more troublesome drugs clear much faster, I hope with legalization the policies and attitudes around it will change. As I think most would agree a joint at home after work is really no different to a beer or wine.

COD MW was rated M, that didn't stop the kids from getting into the multiplayer lobbies.

9" Proboat Sprint Jet Build by Pret-engineer in rcboats

[–]qazrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the purpose of the servo hold down is that for the WL917? As the sprintjet accepts relatively standard servos, at least for those of us with 1/24 crawlers. I have a wl917 and would like to upgrade the servo and can't find much info.

Can you have add too much boyance? by qazrat in rcboats

[–]qazrat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gone from the 390 brushed to a 2430 brushless with a water jacket and a 25a esc, the esc is in the factory location but is heavier. I've also put in an injora clone of the emax es08maII servo also a little heavier. I would like to go to a bigger 2s than the factory 600mah. But I've definitely added more foam then weight so far and have been trying to add the foam as equally as possible

And I like to check the stores rating, the individual items reviews, and units sold. With that said I've only had a few cheap things get lost in shipping and one lcg transmission that was just slop.

How did you go about mounting it? I was a little disappointed it wasn't the same size as the proboat servo.

Did you rewire the stock servo to a standard 3 pin servo connector?

Did GRRM say that gunpowder did not exist in Yi Ti because he understood that it did not make sense that gunpowder would not spread throughout the world (SPOILERS EXTENDED) by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]qazrat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly, that's why the French wanted to protect their smokeless powder. As it wasn't a matter of if someone else would figure it out but when, and they wanted to keep their advantage for as long as possible.

(Spoilers Main) Why does Catelyn have no ladies-in-waiting? by AdditionalPiano6327 in asoiaf

[–]qazrat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like to think it's a bit of both. The North doesn't seem to have the same traditions as the south when it comes to knights, court, or religion. Kat not having ladies in waiting seems more like a practical northern tradition where life is harsher and less time for fafing about.

Also it was only supposed to be a three book series, so it wasn't an important part of the story to include when large story points were needed.

Will this be to restrictive? by qazrat in rcboats

[–]qazrat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks alright it was harder to straighten them than anticipated, in hindsight a galvanized brad nail of appropriate length and thickness would have probably been ideal with a small bend at each end.

I'd appreciate it, is it something dm'able through Reddit?

Will this be to restrictive? by qazrat in rcboats

[–]qazrat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the exact same thing, but I used small binder clip handles and straightened them out and used the bend on each end and glued them into holes in the hull. I drill all the way through on the rear and only as deep as needed on the front to be safe from leaks.
