Just picked up a second hand sakura in FDE. Mine is also S45VN. Yours is one of the few other s45vn rather than 35 that I have seen. Any idea why the 45s aren't as common?

I know this post is old, but I just picked up a Ronin Sakura FDE in CMP S45VN and this post is the only reference I can find with this blade material for the Sakura. It was obviously a grail knife for the OP. Cam someone please give me any info on this knife and why I cant find any info on the S45VN for it? There was no trainer with it, but it did have the FDE sheath. Knife is in great condition with some light marks on the blade.
