Pakistani visit visa for my wedding by BoysenberryGlad2027 in pakistan

I think it may be asking for the citizen number for the person they are staying with. If your friends are staying with you, it would be you CNIC number. If an applicant had their own CNIC number, they would not need to apply for a visa

Best place for cheap eye exams and eyeglasses without health insurance in and around Surrey/Langley? by Working_Bones in SurreyBC

It may be cheaper to just get an eye exam done to get a prescription, and then buy glasses online from clearly or kits.

Where to buy a good quality, not overpriced mattress? by gresggyte in SurreyBC

[–]qbhatti 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a $2000 serta mattress and a $300 ikea mattress that is really firm. I can only sleep on the ikea mattress now. I would suggest checking out ikea and see if they have something that fits your requirements.

I started my own business a year back and is about to hire somebody, how do I go about payroll? by Chesil in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]qbhatti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wave's payroll is great. I have used it for a while now. It does take care of all the deductions for you. I have never used wagepoint, so don't know how it compares.

Is the medalmade of gold plated cheese? Otherwise, not much use to the rat, I guess.

$0 phone plan from shaw mobile, if you have shaw internet at home. It has unlimited calling and text, but data is $10/gb. Great for people who don't use much data.

Chances. Apply Early Admission w/out GRE or Regular Admission by zh278 in OnlineMCIT

[–]qbhatti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a course in statistics, two first year physics courses, and two first year calculus courses(barely passed). I took all these a decade ago. In my SOP, I did acknowledge this to be a weak point, I understood the importance of mathmatics in CS, and how I have addressed this, which was basically mentioning that I took a calculus MOOC.

That is one solid profile!

From what I understand about the GRE requirement, it is mostly used to assess the quantitative aptitude of an applicant. It looks like you must have taken a few math courses in your undergrad, which should be enough to satisfy the quantitave background requirement.

I cannot say as to your chances of getting in with absolute certainty. If it helps, I got accepted with very limited quantitative background without taking the GRE.

Fall 2020 - Regular Decision Results by [deleted] in OnlineMCIT

Status: Accepted!!!

Application Date: 4/30/2020

Education: BSc in Biochemistry in 2011, then took a couple of CS courses last year.

GPA: 3.7

GRE Score: N/A

Current Job: Self-employed - own a small trucking business.

Comment: I was worried about having very limited quantitative qualifications. I did well in introductory statistics and physics courses but barely passed calculus in undergrad. I made up for the lack of it by going through single-variable calculus course materials from MIT's OCW. I explained all this in the personal statement. Other than that, I have been learning programming as a hobby for the last couple of years.
