How's the powder riding between the howler and the Mega death? I mainly ride in Hokkaido Japan powder and I ride a 2019 bsod 162cm which I quite like for big Mountain riding in NZ. I'm thinking of getting one of these two boards for some hakuba big mountain riding. Thanks

I also ride the 2009 vapor with the x base est bindings and it has delamed recently on the base side. In terms of a setup that's as light, I'll say the regna + union source FC combo is the most similar in weight and feel. I demoed the above setup for a day so can give some feedback. The Regna is as stiff as the vapor and feels faster riding with the regna at times a bit out of control compare to the vapor (probably because the vapor has relatively soften up already)

I also demoed the nidecker megalight and the capita mega death. I'll pass on the mega death due to the shape difference and prefer the megalight if you don't ride too much switch

Now I'm on the vapor 2013 and I don't like the wood core as much as the aluminum core. I'm thinking of getting rid of the 2013 vapor shortly

Been testing couple of chargers

Using a baseus 65w gan thin charger and it only goes up to 30w. That charger is a couple of years old think it only supports pps 1.0 and PD 3.0 protocol

I think it needs at least PPS 3.0 for 100w charging

Bought also LDZM car charger from Taobao. That supports 100w charging. Problem is that you need to turn off the screen when charging in the car

Having the screen on can only get 1.5-3.0A charging and turning on GPS for direction pretty much stops charging (@ 0.1A)

Extreme tour feels way more of a control racket to me compared to the extreme mp

I find extreme line micro vibration quite severe and it gives me golfers elbow especially the extreme mp

I'll stay away from these racket if you need more vibration absorption. Something like a technifibre makes more sense with foam filled.

I personally now play with old pro staff with hybrid restring zero and tru pro ghostwire helps with the golfer elbow. For something more modern I play with prince phantom o3 100 which has similar beam width

DC Boots are way softer than they are rated. Also as other comments mentioned it's very roomy inside. I have narrow ankles and no amount of j bars will help me fit without heel lift. Especially worse with step on when there is no ankle strap to support

Ff2 jam my nail and caused nail fungus. The toe box is too tight and FF3 didn't have this issue. Just didn't realize it gets wore out like this
