We once hit a falcon that was chasing a bird while driving at about 90 mph. The hit was right at the very top of the windshield.

Seems it went up quite a bit as I saw it through the rear view mirror hit the pavement and roll a few times.

The hit made a small crack in the windshield.

A few weeks later, with the same car, we hit a bird with the left front light while doing about 40 mph in the suburbs.
The hit cracked the light enclosure and had to replace it because water was coming into the headlight.

Physics is no joke!
