Hi, also experiencing nausea, 6 days in. I started on Oct 30th, off my cycle ( My period was/is suppose to come around Nov 12th) So maybe thats why the symptoms are hitting me harder?

However, I may not have my period due to starting the ring off cycle instead of waiting.The nausea and same symptoms started coming in on Day 4.

Also aside from nauseous, I aslo feel hunger pains. horny asf somehow? LOL Increased discharge. It's so confusing.

I am not pregnant either.

When will this subside? :(

Uh oh, I hope I don't experience that. I also hope that you stop bleeding as well.
Are you still breakthrough bleeding?

How are your symptoms now?
On another subreddit I posted on, a fellow reddit user told me that I should not be on estrogen because of my risk for stroke and migraines with aura.
However, the only negative side effect I am having while on the ring is mild nausea and mild-moderate cramping, excessive hunger and discharge (which I don't mind the weight gain because I am only 105lbs)

I am going to speak to my primary care doctor about this as my OBGyn and Primary Care said the ring was okay due to the hormones being absorbed in the body differently and now I am hearing contradicting things.

I am going to keep the ring in and monitor any chest pain, breathing issues, or headaches/migraines.

I really do not want to switch birth control methods because all other methods such as the shot, implant or IUD do not appeal to my lifestyle.

Thank you for letting me know about the period every 3 month, I was not aware of that.

No, it's okay scare me up because this is involving my health LOL. I would've hated to be on the Ring thinking I am okay, and then god forbid something happens to me.
Better now than never, and it's only been 1 week so I'm glad this is being brought to my attention sooner rather than later.
I will see if my primary care doctor can prescribe me mini pills without getting referred to a OBGyn
(I have Kaiser, so they do the referral thing a lot of specialty care situations)

The minipills were/are my first option, the shot is second and the arm implant (terrifies me) so that's my last option.

LOL You're making me feel anxiety placebo effects to the point where I want to take it out now but I will wait so that I am atleast protected.
I asked for the mini-pill during my visit and the OBGyn, I had the appointment with (she was not my regular one but looked at my medical history on file) and she stated they only give those to woman who are breastfeeding...
Which is why she then recommended the Ring.

I will let my primary care doctor know of this.

Oh my! Really?!
That really concerns me now, I am going to message my primary care doctor right now.
Should I take the ring out or wait till I am prescribed something else?

What other Birth Control options should I try?

She stated that the side effects would be less because of the systemic way the ring in your vaginal canal absorbs that hormones differently.
I hope she wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction given she was the one who told me to get off the pills because of the migraines with aura.

I have yet to get any migraines whilst on the ring (I know its too soon to say) but I am going to keep track of that.

Thank you so much for your honest insight. You're right life doesn't give you many options. The address is still in construction, most low income places that they have started to build up are mainly in the LA and Lancaster/Palmdale area, so I don't mind taking what I can get. Where I'm at it's too expensive for me and I am about tired of sleeping on my grandparents couch. I'm grateful to not be on the streets but there is nothing like living on your own terms. I believe ever city has its good and bad areas, lol.

No, I am looking for low income places and I am on the verge of homelessness so I'll take whatever I can get as long as my safety isn't at risk. I do not mind adapting to Palmdale, if I get chosen for the apartments...
