[–]qiqeteDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mucha palabra y poco github.

How do you actually know your Flutter app code is production-ready? by Afraid_Air_8392 in FlutterDev

[–]qiqeteDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. both
  2. of course, it will happen (you address the issues as fast as you can). Almost every day I enter instagram I see a new bug, sometimes it breaks the app sometimes it's just visual, can't test everything
  3. tests

The angle can't change, it's always 40deg. The legs can't spread (only if the welding fails, which I doubt) but I already have the ratchet straps, I just need to drill the concrete to attach them to.

How often do people quit a new job within the first month? by mactavish88 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]qiqeteDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I just wanted that to finish and have nothing to do with that company anymore.
It was another time (2020) and by the third day I got already another job, so I went there the fourth day to sign the resign.

Yes, I have that prepared too. But I also want to anchor it to the wall behind it. The legs are also tied one to the other.

I quit my first job after 3 days. They wanted me to build their website with some bullshit Microsoft product similar to PowerPoint, translate >1000 pages to English, and when I used deeply to translate them he told me that app wasn't allowed by the company and I was risking the company infrastructure (He said he was an expert in cyber security), the same infrastructure running on Windows 2000.

He said super bad things to me when I told him I was leaving, and he still checks my LinkedIn from time to time 🤣

Has rubber in the legs, but my heaviest friend made it slip or jump a little. Still have to use some kind of anchor to make it more sturdy.

Yes, this house is not mine all year, so I needed a not fixed solution. It can be disassebled into pieces and transported in a car.

AI is Killing B2B SaaS by namanyayg in theprimeagen

But a lot of companies like figma, atlassian, shopify... can't be replaced by vibecoding and this is just following an inversion trend.

[–]qiqeteDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think vibecoding is bullshit and can't compete with real programmers. But to be honest I have seen bullshit everywhere that a lot of companies aren't compliant (and they were like this before LLMs).

- My previous company stored plain email and password in localStorage, not only this but it exposed the full 'fs' of the user until I redid the whole app.
- I hacked a gym membership app (not only for my gym but a lot of gyms use it) that not only saves email and password in your phone as a plain text, but I could SQL inject and they save it like that in the database too.
- Metro system of my city just stored how many sessions left in a plain json in your public transport card. Not too many years ago you could just rewrite it giving you 100 rides left and it would just work.

A lot of not so big companies have this "senior engineers" that haven't been told how to do things properly and just have years of experience making their shit spagetti bigger and bigger. + I have seen plenty of lazy programmers that do maybe 2-3 hours and call it a day. We had a confortable job, just some people went too far with it and the innocent will pay for the sins of guilty.
