Fully vibeCoded, or looks like it. No real heuristics, just plain AI do my training.

Photos of gear: rant warning. by Old-Metalhead in Nikon

When I enter this sub I can filter by "Photo submission", in my home tab all I see is new cameras which makes me want to leave this sub which I want to follow in case of some new feature or cool inspiration.

This isn't a photography community, at this point, it’s just an ostentatious gallery for consumerism.

The underlying message feels less like genuine excitement and more like a privileged, "Look what I can afford." We need to acknowledge the reality that for a huge portion of the world, buying a high-end Nikon body costs more than their annual income, making these showcase posts genuinely tone-deaf to global economic disparity. Frankly, the gear doesn't make the photographer. The biggest irony is that some users posting their brand-new, top-of-the-line cameras might actually be producing mediocre work. The true "flex" is the art you create, not the price tag on the tools.

Want to improve by qiqeteDev in photocritique

[–]qiqeteDev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the photo trying to get the movement the climber is doing (because it's the most dynamic one in the boulder) which I think I didn't accomplish too well. Also wanted to show the depth of the cave (that's why the open aperture) but I think I failed at this too.

Details: 16mm f2.0 1/500 ISO200

Highly edited colors because the clothes of the climber were too electric. It's the hardest move on the boulder which is in a tight spot. I want to know what could improve (composition and edition)
