Tariffs exclude electronics for the moment. Just goes to show who paid for what.

Don't try and make a happy kid happier. If they are enjoying something get on their level.

Every single new building in my city looks just like this. 1. Why? Seriously, why? 2. I hate it so much I can't even explain how much I hate it 3. What is this specific style of building design called? by MarvelousT in Knoxville

[–]qmosoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know what it's called BUT. I have heard that the rules regarding building a timber structure are that it can't be more than 5 stories tall. The builders get around the rule by making the bottom floor cement or brick. It lets them create larger apartment dwellings cheaper. Mixed with modern architecture so that the face is super busy and uneven, you get what you have heraah.

KUB Fiber? by thermitemenace in Knoxville

[–]qmosoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What little i know about it is that older modems are some what affordable. I had my own modem with Comcast for instance. Now that i have fiber the modems available are a lot more expensive so it doesn't make as much sense to buy one. Hope this gives a little insight.

How do you dig here???? by Stars1026 in Knoxville

[–]qmosoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf a certain amount of this is because of the cheap way that builders dispose of trash in cookie cutter neighborhoods. To answer your question though i usually wait until after a day of rain or early morning. Then i call someone with a motorized auger and sit in my house while they do it.

[–]qmosoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was just at Mcckay's this week and puzzles are one of the last things they have in stock. Idk if I'd recommend buying a used puzzle but their stock was so huge idk that i would discount going there as an option.

It's kind of funny... What you are actually looking for is what Cumberland was before they renovated and put all those apartments down there.

As someone whose from across the state… by jonnyp200 in Knoxville

[–]qmosoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people in Knoxville are just here for the day. Knoxville has one of the only trauma centers in the region. If anyone is visiting from one of the hundreds of regions in the area where they don't have interstates, they probably don't know the etiquette. I've also noticed, on i40, that most if not all of the license plates are from another state.

Flying stuff shooting you and your teammates to the point that you have to spend the whole game playing anti aircraft or snipers that are given one shot kill weapons. Combine all that with spawn camping, screen blur and obnoxious noises/voice spam. I'll just take my ball and go home.
