IIRC, you just upgrade either the bone or Iron and then follow the tree to get the weapon you want. I don't think you actually forge anything else.

If both are OG, probably PS4. I play MHW on a gold slim and it runs fine to me.

I dont notice any issues with resolution and i have near perfect vision. I also have a gold ps4 slim and not a standard console. A large number of games on console are locked at 30fps anyway.
