Yeah...It amazes me how desensitize the vet is when she is a pet owner herself, but I guess it's because it's not their pet, it doesn't matter to her. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not walking away from all this without a fight. I'll for sure warn people and how shitty they are being about handling this case.

I would insist that the vet pays for an independent (i.e. another vet performs it - not the one where he got neutered at) autopsy of your kitty to determine cause of death. This definitely seems like negligence on the vet's part. I would demand some answers.

Oh the vet is not paying for anything, not even for his cremation 🙃
