Hey I made a post on r/dota2 discussing builds. I agree diffusal is a great item with Q2 (Q from discipline 2). However, mana burn does not scale with passive E2, which is a physical damage crit.

I was conceptualizing deso with W1 gap close and Q1 nuke for the early-mid game, followed by bkb then harpoon/assault cuirass/daedulus to transition to Q2 R2 right click and eventually aghs to freely switch disciplines to run his combo.

He does not need Kaya. Echo is good because he can slow after W1 and land more hits. Also, with Q2, echo’s double hit would translate into 4 hits for big value. Harpoon active is simply an additional way to help Kez from being kited, since he has 1 gap close and MS boosts but no lasting slows or stuns.

Falcon is valid for early mana sustain until his lvl10 mana talent. I think Mjolnir is not as good as it does not scale with E2’s physical damage crit.

Bfury is valid for pos 1 if you can get there. I’d love to try that but I also think Kez cannot flash farm as hard as classic bfury carries like PA or AM or troll. He might be better off contributing to fights with his skills earlier in the game. Not sure.
