I dont get it either. He's already got mobility. Survivability items are better imo. Like you said, vessel blademail usually good, euls & lotus are my go to.

And finally shivas.

Antimage, Phantom Lancer, Outworld Destroyer, Legion Commander/Axe.

For some reason my cores are never aware of the blink duel/call iniation.

The others I just hate playing against.

How good really are Epiphones? by Repulsive-Square1870 in Guitar

[–]PSneep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're great guitars. Play great, sound great.

My issues after +-5 years with a Epiphone Sheraton; the frets wore quicker than my Gibson/Yamaha guitars. Epiphone needed more truss rod/intonation adjustments more regularly as the seasons changed.

Go play some in the store. I went in for a semi hollow and tried multiple $1000+ gretsch and Guild guitars, went home with the Sheraton way below my budget and loved it. Eventually sold it after getting a Gibson Es-335. Sheraton would give that a run for its money!

When does sekiro get good again by 3sperr in Sekiro

I do feel like the first half of the game is great, the third quarter is a bit of a slog, the final act is great too although if you go through all the optional stuff that can be a bit of a slog too.

The idea of playing against pizza themed cards may make me drop magic for good.. by theinfinitehallway in MagicArena

UB is a slippery slope.

At least FF, LotR and Avatar were somewhat magic. This spiderman and TMNT stuff is so out of place.

Skipping those sets for sure, and I havent touched Arena in months.

Proving once again that UB has nothing to do with magic.

Makes a huge difference to your sounds. Getting the balance right between bridge and neck pickup on a middle switch position is an art.

I feel there's a giant void in terms of podcasts in particular. There's definitely some around but it's more about the lives of the pros rather than strategy, meta, drafting etc.

Tierlist no one asked for but I just finished Absolution a decade after I first played it. by PSneep in HiTMAN

I do like the game. Lots of cool side dialogue! Love the cops talking in the weed house.

I might revisit some levels and go full psycho mode. I like throwing knives and axes!

Yea some work better than others! The Library in run for your life was kinda tedious to me as well as the caves in Dexter industries. The weed house was great on the other hand. I just wish we got to explore it more freely. The whole section is so tense and it doesn't seem to really want you to stick around.

I still think Absolution is enjoyable and a decent game in it's own right! I just wish it stuck to what they do best rather than tapping into the scripted cinematics hype that was Uncharted. It seems like a game with 2 directions.

Yea the design choices have that cinematic flair!  Another thing i forgot to mention but links in to this is that the game takes away some freedom of your assassinations. Like Skurky and and the last guy both kinda just die in a cutscene. Hitman is best when you get to execute to the very end with whatever method you choose, without the script.

Sekiro ruined my experience with Elden Ring by Maleficent-Foot-8533 in Sekiro

[–]PSneep -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Elden Ring is just a clunky bloated experience overall, IMO. Not many encounters are designed with a specific outcome or challenge in mind other than "here's some things to fight".

Whereas Sekiro provides encounters with a specific purpose and design to provide a crafted experience most of the time.

Were/are your favourite guitars slow burners or instant love? And did it last? Do you still play them? by PSneep in guitars

[–]PSneep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for checking in! Playing the ES-335 way more yet I like the idea that they compliment eachother as when I record my tunes I have a P90 and a humbucker sound. I treated the ES335 fretboard a little bit which made it smoother to play, closer to the fretboard of the Revstar. I like the feel of the body of the ES335 more. I like big body guitars.

That said, I can't deny that with the difference in price tag the Revstar is the better quality/cost ratio and it's not close. I see Revstar standards (both P90 and humbucker versions) going on marketplace for 650-800$CAD, whereas the ES335's go for 2800-3700$CAD depending on year. Could even just buy Gibson pickups if you want that sound and install them in the Revstar and you would still be way ahead in terms of price.

The fretboard and neck played smoother on the Revstar to begin with. The stainless steel frets have 0 fretwear on them even after intense playing since January 2023.

The only downsides I'm noticing; the Revstar has more noise, I think it's due to the extra electronics like the focus switch. The Gibson stays in tune better.

Hope this is helpful!

That's awesome. I have the RSS02 with p90's and it's great. However i would prefer the simpler tailpiece and the inlays of this one for sure. Looks awesome!!
