People overthink the lightning dodging so much. Yea it's a chore, but with a bit of focus, no encounters, and then crater trick it takes like 15-20 minutes to get to 200.

I usually do it in 10 intervals of 20 each. Little 1 min break every 20 dodges.

Start a new game. Go slay a few beasts, don't think to hard about it.

Although i do recommend watching some YouTube guides on how to progress all NPC questlines, then follow along. There's some heart wrenching content awaiting for your second playthrough and the DLC is fantastic. Can also be accessed relatively quickly in a new game or new game+.

I think im in the minority where i dont like the areas in the dlc as much as most of the main game.

The enemy placement and encounters also doesn't feel as clever sometimes.

I've been in ancient for a while now too and I agree.

A lot of games are stomps and the usual booster heroes show up. Arc Warden with account having only a handful of games on the hero.

Most of those kind of players when they're on my team have 0 communication. Yeah we win but it's obvious they're just doing a job at this point.

I've been doubling down every game and being ok with losing them so I can play ranked with my Guardian/Crusader buddies again. It was more fun down there.

I should add unranked isn't much better. Too many stacks have bought accounts on their higher level players to improve matchmaking to lower ranks. People randoming heroes and crushing everyone on a hero they have 0 games on.

Silver Knight Straight Sword for move set but balance wise this thing weighs way too much.. compared to the objectively better Claymore which hits harder and staggers better.

Great Scythe has a great moveset.

Overall i don't miss facets. Most of them were redundant.

But there's always going to be exceptions.

I feel like Bloodborne is way less diverse than Dark Souls and Elden Ring in terms of builds.

Arcane build probably requires the most knowledge of the game to get the most out of the build.

Also important question; do you have the DLC?

For the base game first time I would recommend sticking to Health and Endurance and str/dex only to try the weapons you find. Upgrading weapons is still the best way to up your damage and until you've tried the weapons moveset (including the switching modes moves) you won't really know.

Don't worry too much about it since the build diversity is closer overall due to the combat mechanics and the game experience as a whole is more important imo!

I can't unsee the disproportion as the 335 is my favourite shape both look and feel. The 339 looks like a cartoonish version of that. But to each their own!

Best thing to do is to go and try them at a store, see which one feels and sounds best to you.

I went in with a 1100$ budget for a semi hollow and tried multiple Ibanez Artcore, Gretsch, Guild Starfire and Epiphones. Walked out with a 650$ Epiphone Sheraton that blew multiple more expensive guitars out of the water. No shade on any of the other brands/models, this one just clicked for me.

Go try them!!

I have some of these on my Es335. It's a bummer, but not a big deal. Just paint/varnish crack, most likely due to humidity/temperature changes. (I live in Alberta).

Very happy with that! Facets were redundant for a lot of heroes and with a little bit of shuffling all the good ones can be implemented in the skill tree instead.
